\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJerry\u2019s, Eugene\u2019s original discount building material store, was founded in November of 1961 by Jerry and Merle Orem. Fifty-eight years later, Jerry\u2019s has grown from 2 employees to hundreds. In December of 2010, Dennis Orem announced he was transitioning ownership to the employees through an ESOP, allowing them to become shareholders and partners in Jerry\u2019s growth.
