Telling us about Comtex and how they meet new business challenges was company VP Cheryl Sawyer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re, as we like to say, a type of white-glove service,\u201d she explained. \u201cYou know we\u2019re going to support you if you work with Comtex.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was their dedication to customers that drove Ms. Sawyer and Comtex to buck hosted telephone systems in favor of on-premise solutions. Using this model, the company became able to offer more powerful communications technology while still providing exceptional service before, during and after installation.<\/p>\n

However, market shakeups seemed to threaten that approach. Phones and similar solutions were becoming available to businesses outside of dedicated tech vendors, such as the internet. As Ms. Sawyer put it:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe difference in the industry is, I\u2019m sure, all individual vendors\u2019 sales are not what they used to be \u2014 because now IT does it, and IT\u2019s in there usually before a telephone vendor. So we are losing part of the market share, there\u2019s no question.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite this hurdle, Comtex now faces no difficulty in adapting to their on-premise model. This is thanks in large part to the company\u2019s capacity for retaining clients and the seamless systems conversion offered by Wildix.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile we\u2019re servicing those clients, we are starting to migrate them to Wildix,\u201d Ms. Sawyer explained. \u201cA lot of clients are migrating to Wildix for security purposes \u2014 and for, of course, the advanced features<\/strong>. And it\u2019s a simple migration for our clients because we\u2019re still the vendor supporting them, equipment- and dial tone-wise<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

That effortless transition and ability to give customers specialized attention especially helped convince Ms. Sawyer to partner with Wildix.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was because of the fact that we are still the vendor in all aspects,\u201d she recounted, \u201cand can still offer that white-glove support to our current clients and new clients; that\u2019s why we signed on.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith Wildix, our clients can remain our clients: <\/strong>we<\/i><\/strong> program, <\/strong>we<\/i><\/strong> bill, and it\u2019s all within our control<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course, Wildix has presented Comtex with additional benefits as well. In particular, Ms. Sawyer recognized an additional advantage in Wildix\u2019s mobile Collaboration tool:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe cell app, I\u2019ve seen that solve a bunch of client\u2019s issues, such as the caller ID of the business \u2014 whether it\u2019s doctors, or even if it\u2019s for the service industry. One of the complaints I was getting was they\u2019d call from their own cell phone and nobody would answer the call, because they thought it was spam. I said, \u2018Well, I\u2019ve got a perfect solution. This app is gonna solve that.<\/strong>\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Past that, Ms. Sawyer particularly emphasized Wildix\u2019s support for established clients as a prime benefit in being a Partner. With Wildix, Comtex\u2019s customer base can change to an innovative, feature-rich UCC solution without giving up the top-quality customer care they know their vendor for.<\/p>\n
