Dear Partner,
We’re writing to let you know that WMS 4 will reach end of life on December 31, 2022. You can find more details on what this means here.
We encourage you to upgrade your customers to WMS 5, to ensure they get the latest version with all the security and compatibility with the systems they use.
- Read the WMS 5 changelog here
- Discover a collection of live presentations on WMS 5 and 6 here
To upgrade, there’s no need to go onsite. Instead, you can upgrade the PBXs of your customers remotely. To proceed with the upgrade to WMS 5, use the rel50 repository on the upgrade page of the WMS interface.
For those subscriptions that are not on WMS 5 by October 30, we’ll prepare an upgrade schedule to ensure all customers are on updated systems by the time WMS 4 goes EOL. We’ll share further details on this with those customers at the end of October.
If you have customers on LifeTime licenses running WMS 4, you’ll need to first update their PBXs to a subscription basis and then you will be able to update those systems to WMS 5
WMS 6 is on its way and is already available in beta. You can find out about what’s new in this version on our blog.
Regards,
Wildix
